Terms & Conditions

Below you can read our general terms and conditions. The terms and conditions apply to all bookings with us, including bookings via our website, in our app or if made through a third party. If you have any questions, please contact info@ljusterologi.se

Unless otherwise agreed, the following rules apply. Special rules may apply for conferences and group bookings.

Order

The number of people, price, accommodation and other products and services to be delivered by the hotel are stated in the confirmation that the guest receives after ordering. Children up to 9 years old have the opportunity to sleep in their parents' bed at no extra cost.

 

When subscribing to the entire Ljusterö Lodge, there is an additional cost of 500 :- / person in addition to the 30 people included in the subscription package. For example, if someone comes only for the celebration in the evening and then does not sleep at the lodge.

 

A booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have been given a booking number. This can be done verbally, in writing or via a booking system. When booking, you are required to provide your name, address, arrival and departure times and how payment is to be made.


For security reasons, we only allow our employees and checked-in guests to stay freely in hotel rooms or other reserved premises unless otherwise determined.

 

A maximum of 50 people can be in the common room.

Validity of the price agreement

De avtalade priserna är bindande för bägge parter men hotellet förbehåller sig dock rätten att justera priserna som följd av ändrade kostnader vid ökade skatter och avgifter eller andra förhållanden utanför hotellets kontroll. Om en situation skulle uppstå där detta skulle bli aktuellt, så kommuniceras detta med alla berörda.

Check-in and check-out times

Hotel rooms booked are guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed.

Payment

Ljusterö Logi uses Mews Payments and we accept payment from all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.


When booking through MEWS, we charge for the entire stay directly.

Change and cancellation

If you need to change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible to see what we can do.


If you cancel 2 weeks or more before the arrival date, you will be charged 25% of the total rental cost. This money is then put back into your account.


If you cancel within 2 weeks before the arrival date, you will be charged 100% of the total rental cost. This also applies to no-shows.


Other policies are applied when booking through Booking.com and Airbnb

Booking.com

The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 14 days of arrival. If the guest doesn't show up, they'll be charged the total price of the reservation.

Airbnb

Guests who cancel 30 days or more before check-in will receive a 50% refund. After that, their stay is non-refundable.

Appointment bookings

For orders placed by customers with a contract with Ljusterö Logi, the order/cancellation rules stated in the contract apply.

18-year age limit

For guests not traveling with parents, we have an age limit of 18. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if valid identification cannot be presented.

Liability for damage

The guest, or the person who is the guarantor of the room, is responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of negligence or unreasonable behavior by the guest. We remind you that all rooms and indoor areas are non-smoking. In the event of a violation, the hotel will demand compensation for extra cleaning of the room. Examples of negligence that damages the interior would be smoke odor, burn marks, spilled wine or other things that create stains that do not go away with regular cleaning, broken furniture, broken interior such as paintings, mirrors and furniture.

Can I take my dog with me?

Pets are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead, exercise their needs outside the area and show consideration for other hotel guests. We also request that no dogs are left alone in the room if you leave the facility.

12. Rules regarding the different areas that Ljusterö Logi provides

Generally

· Guests with us can be loud until 11:00 PM – after that you can of course stay awake and socialize, but noise must not be heard by our neighbors.

· We have a limited number of parking spaces at the lodge itself, approximately 8 cars can park here at the same time. It is important that the road is not blocked due to the accessibility of neighbors, the fire department or others.

· You sort your used garbage yourself in our garbage station, which has clear signs for what should go where.

The premises

It is not permitted to move furniture between different parts of Ljusterö Logi. For example, moving furniture from the lounge to the pool area is not acceptable. There are duplicate sets of what is needed inside and outside.

The pool

· Before anyone uses the pool, they need to shower immediately before. If using the sauna, it is requested that you shower between each time you have been in the sauna.

· Children are not allowed to stay by or in the pool on their own.

· You are absolutely not allowed to dive as the pool is only 1.5 meters deep

· The pool has chlorine in it which can be irritating to the skin

· There are set times for the sauna and we don't have it on all the time. Please agree with your group when you want to use the sauna.

· If you leave the lodge and there is no one else there, all gates to the pool area need to be closed and the doors to the outdoor kitchen and living room need to be closed.

Force majeure

Events beyond the control of the contracting parties - such as strikes, lockouts, fires, etc. that make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement - give the right to terminate the agreement without liability for compensation.

14. Court

All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and the hotel) shall be handled in accordance with Swedish law. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the hotel's jurisdiction shall apply, with the exception of mandatory rules in consumer contracts.

15. Your own safety

Always know where emergency exits, panic buttons and fire extinguishers are located. Look for details in the information on the inside of the hotel room door.

16. Processing of personal data

See our privacy policy and below related to your bookings through Mews, which is our solid, industry-leading and well-established external booking system.

17. Mews

Mews guest portal is GDPR compliant. Guests can view the information they share with Ljusterö Logi and request to delete or send it back to them at any time.
