When you come to us at Lodge Ljusterö, you will receive a well-cleaned room with sheets, pillowcases and towels. You also have access to a shared kitchen, living room with Apple TV, pool area and sauna.

Ljusterö Logi is close to restaurants, attractions and nature. For example, you can:Nature- Swim at one of the swimming areas- Östra Lagnö Nature Reserve is a place no one should forget to experience - for nature lovers, birdwatchers, life enthusiasts and all of us who appreciate the beautiful and quiet, the barren and stormy.- Go up to Ljusterö Huvud which has a fantastic view that looks all the way to Stockholm- Enjoy the forest, lakes and seascape in the bays- Pick mushrooms and berries- Visit cows, sheep and horses on nearby farms- You will find the start of the Nature and Fairy Tale Trail at Granliden, the nature trail is 4 and 6 km long respectively and the fairy tale trail tells the story of Nils Karlsson Pyssling.Culture- Go to the Local History Museum in Mellansjö or Björkliden's Museum- Take a heritage walk at Ljusterö ChurchSports and activities- Rent a kayak and paddle in our beautiful waters, there are several places around the island that rent out kayaks.- In Laggarsvik there are 2 paddle courts, a football pitch, a boules court, a tennis court and a tennis wall.- You can find an 18-hole golf course in Väsby.Shopping- In addition to what you find at Ljusterö Square, there are many other shopping opportunities on the island.- A visit to Mora Gård and Eva's quaint little shop where you can find everything from soap to beautiful clothes.- Linanäs Gästamn has a small shop where you can find everything you need, light lunches, coffee with snacks and a gas station. A guest harbour where you can also shower and use the toilet.- Temporarily our large grocery store located centrally on Ljusterö Square.Much of the information here comes from www.llustero.se, and we thank you for that!

There are a number of great restaurants on Ljusterö:- Ljusterö Square Cheese and Deli- Restaurant Turqouise which has a branch in Lillström- The Thaikiosken at Ljusterö Square offers good takeaway food, as does the Pizzeria at the square.- In Linanäs there is Linanäsbryggan with a fantastic Tacobar and restaurant Skärgårn.- At the Östanå ferry terminal there is Östanå Sjökrog with a nice menu.

Yes, it is child-friendly! However, children are not allowed to be alone by the pool or in the common room for your own safety.

The maximum number of people staying overnight is around 30. If you want more guests during the event itself, for example a birthday celebration, we charge a fee of 500 SEK per person who will then have access to the entire Lodge.

Yes, we are open all year round!

Our guests can be loud until 11:00 PM - after that you can of course stay awake and socialize, but the noise must not be "disturbing" to our neighbors.We have a limited number of parking spaces at the lodge itself, about 5 cars can park here at a time. It is important that the road is not blocked by neighbors, emergency services or others. More parking spaces are available down by the harbor.You sort your used waste yourself in our waste station, which has clear signs for what should go where.It is not allowed to move furniture between different parts of Ljusterö Logi. For example, moving furniture from the lounge to the pool area is not acceptable. There are duplicate sets of what is needed inside and outside.Before anyone uses the pool, you must shower immediately before. If you use the sauna, you are encouraged to shower between each time you have been in the sauna.Children are not allowed to stay by or in the pool on their own.You are absolutely not allowed to dive as the pool is only 1.5 meters deepFixed times for the sauna and we don't have it on all the time. Please agree with your group when you want to use the sauna.If you leave the lodge and there is no one else on site, all gates to the pool area must be closed and the doors to the outdoor kitchen and lounge must be closed.Thank you very much for your consideration! Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed, relieve themselves outside the area, and are considerate of other guests. We also ask that no dogs be left alone in the room when you leave the facility.
