Ljusterö Logi values your personal privacy and strives to protect your personal data in the best possible way. This policy explains our regulations regarding the collection and processing of personal data. Ljusterö Logi undertakes to respect and protect such information and your personal privacy in accordance with applicable Swedish legislation. By accepting our terms and conditions, you agree that we use your personal data in this way. We will not share your personal data with partners or third parties for commercial purposes. In short, we never save more personal data than is necessary to implement an agreement, for you to be able to take advantage of offers or to be invoiced. All data is saved securely and never longer than necessary. You always have the “right to be forgotten” by contacting us and asking us to remove you from our systems.

What data we process

We only handle the information that is needed and only by the people who need it, in order to provide the best service to our customers.

How the information is collected

You provide your details yourself when contacting Ljusterö Logi. When making inquiries and booking rooms or when you subscribe to the entire lodge via telephone contact, web form, email, social media, etc.

In case of group bookings where you provide us with personal data about people other than yourself, you are responsible for ensuring that Ljusterö Logi is allowed to process the personal data in accordance with this personal data policy.

Why we treat

Ljusterö Logi collects this personal data about you as a customer and interested party in order to fulfill our obligations to you under the agreement and to be able to provide offers. This is necessary so that we can identify you, for statistical purposes and for direct marketing (which you can unsubscribe from of course). The personal data collected when ordering is needed to handle an order or agreement and possibly for invoicing. We also process the data to send evaluations and carry out follow-up to which you consent.

Who do we share personal data with?

Ljusterö Logi will not sell or share your personal information with third parties unless we have permission to do so or if legal requirements require this.
In some cases, we may use a personal data processor hired by us for marketing or to process agreements and orders.

How long we save

Ljusterö Logi saves personal data about you as a customer as long as there is a customer relationship or is necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy, unless other Swedish or European law, court or authority states otherwise. Your data may be saved based on a balancing of interests. How long your personal data is stored with us varies depending on the purpose for which it was collected. Personal data processed for invoicing is saved as long as it is required as a basis for accounting.

As a customer of Ljusterö Logi, you have several rights that you should be aware of. As of May 25, 2018, you have the right to have all information that can be used to identify you personally deleted. This refers to information that can be used to identify you as a person. De-identified, non-personal information about bookings, sales and activities is not included, these may be saved for statistical purposes and in some cases for accounting rules and reporting obligations.

You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete. You have the right to be forgotten, but deletion of personal data cannot take place if it is required to fulfill the contract or if other Swedish or European law, court or authority decision states otherwise. You also have the right to withdraw consent and to refuse direct marketing.

Once per calendar year, you can be informed free of charge about which of your personal data we process. Your written request must be sent to the postal address below and must be signed by you personally.

Personal data incident

If Ljusterö Logi experiences a data breach or if an accidental loss of personal data occurs, the data controller will document the incident and report it to the Swedish Data Protection Authority and affected customers within 72 hours.
